VORTEILScard Senior
For those under 26 years of age and women over 60 and men over 65 - regardless of nationality - the VORTEILScards offer up to 50% discount on all trains operating in the Austrian Railway network. You can obtain your card over the counter at train stations across Austria - you just need a photo ID for proof of age and a passport-sized photo for on the card. The VORTEILScards are valid for the entire calendar year and cost €19.90 for <26 and €26.90 for Seniors.
1-PLUS-Freizeitticket
Literally translating to ‘1-PLUS-Freetime Ticket’ this offer is ideal for family or friends travelling together. A discount applies to the 2nd up to 5th person in the group on rail travel in 1st and 2nd Class within Austria. You can travel one-way or return, the only stipulation being that the group must always travel together. Bicycle transport is also included free of charge in this offer.
Group Ticket
If you are travelling in a group of 6 or more, this is the best option for you. For journeys up to 100km the entire group gets a discount of 30% and for 101km and more, 40%.
