Lower Austria

Lower Austria, located in the Northeast, is Austria's largest province.

Lower Austria is divided into four regions: the Weinviertel and the Waldviertel north of the Danube, and the Mostviertel and the Industrieviertel south of the Danube. The province shares borders with Slovakia and the Czech Republic as well as the provinces of Upper Austria, Styria and Burgenland.
