Salzburger Nockerl

Ingredients for 3 large dishes:
7 egg whites
100 g granulated sugar
2 egg yolks
20 g fine flour
1 tablespoon of vanilla sugar
Butter for brushing
Icing sugar for sprinkling

Preparation:
Beat the egg whites stiff, adding the granulated sugar the whole time.
Stir in the vanilla sugar and egg yolks.
Slowly fold in the flour.
Brush a flat baking dish or tray (stainless steel or Pyrex) with butter.
Shape the mixture into three pyramids and bake in a preheated oven. Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve immediately.
Oven temperature: 220°C
Baking time: 9 minutes
