“Art & Pleasure” at Kunsthistorisches Museum
Every Sunday Gerstner, an old K. & K. court confectioner, organizes an Art Brunch with welcome aperitif and exclusive buffet from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Kunsthistorischen Museum. The magnificent cupola hall provides the perfect setting for some delightful snacks before enjoying a guided tour of the special exhibitions and the painting galleries, the Egyptian-Oriental collection and the coin cabinet. Special tours are available for families.

Every Thursday from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm Gerstner treats its guests to delicious buffets under the motto Art & Pleasure Gerstner. The mouth-watering selection of starters, mains and desserts from the buffet is accompanied by delightful music. An in-between two bites you can take a stroll through the museum’s famous painting gallery which boasts the world’s largest Brueghel collection.

MAK: Viennese Cuisine at the Museum
If you love traditional Viennese food and stylish settings you should head for the Museum of Applied Arts. This smart new boutique restaurant serves classic Viennese dishes with a modern twist. Beef goulash, Viennese schnitzel or Mozart dumplings (with nougat and marzipan) – celebrity chef Helmut Österreicher serves finely crafted dishes that provide a deeply satisfying dining experience. The restaurant’s philosophy is to offer smaller portions at moderate prices so guests can enjoy two or more courses.

The interior offers several dramatic highlights including a giant chandelier made from wine bottles which accentuates the wonderful historic ceiling. The "Window on Ring" – a small steel balcony – is a great place for an after-dinner drink with views of the magnificent Ringstraße.
Tip: the restaurant boasts an extensive wine menu with great Viennese wines.

Mistelbach: All In One Nitsch
With 2600 square meters of exhibition space the Hermann Nitsch Museum is Austria’s largest monographic museum. The exhibition is complemented by expert lectures, symposiums and papers which reflect the bandwidth of the artist’s works. Another focus is on the music that was written for the Orgy-Mystery Theater and which is to be maintained and developed by local music schools and brass bands.

The Art for Gourmets package offers a perfect blend of art, food and fine wine: In addition to a guided tour of the Nitsch Museum are treated to a wine tasting session with a vintner. In the evening you can either dine at the prize-winning Zur Linde restaurant or the culture-restaurant Gastwirtschaft Neunläuf. Accommodation is at the Zur Linde 4-star hotel (incl. breakfast).
