Open Air Museum Großgmain

This rural idyll is located only a few kilometers from Salzburg and takes the visitor on a delightful journey into the past. Colorful gardens, barns, mills, workshops and mountain huts from 5 different centuries give a good insight into old-day lives in the countryside. All buildings were dismantled at their original sites and faithfully rebuilt in Grossgmain. Thanks to its proximity to Salzburg the open-air museum makes a great outing destination for families.
