Street Art from around the World

The city is filled with incredible flair when a colourful array of street art groups and solo performers come to town for the Pflasterspektakel. About 600 artists from over 40 nations and every continent descend on Linz and turn the city into a most entertaining stage for world-class street art.
The Pflasterspektakel is a multicultural spectacle that attracts virtuosos of arts such as juggling, clowning, acrobatics and mime. It includes shows for children in the afternoons and fire displays at midnight; it fills the streets with music, singing and samba, and lures visitors into inner courtyards with their own special ambience to watch performances of street theater. For more than 20 years now, this festival with its street performers from a wide variety of cultures and nations has not only been characterized by tremendous diversity but has also proven to be a unique cultural crossroads.
