Contemporary Art at the O.K

The O.K is a facility in which to produce and display contemporary art. Its mission is to accompany an artistic work from conception through execution to exhibition. The highly sophisticated architectural ambience of this former school building - which reopened in August 2007 after a total makeover -provides a striking space for extraordinary art. Programmatically, the emphasis is on multimedia projects by individuals and groups - mostly up-and-coming young creatives whose works often deal with themes of great social relevance. The O.K’s exhibitions are accompanied by symposia, efforts to facilitate and mediate visitors’ encounters with contemporary art, and a musical programme.
