Since April we are proudly presenting our Hut Channel listing over 100 charming huts. Here you can cast your vote for your most favorite mountain hut and enter the chance to win a great prize!
The Magic of Walking
For many hiking enthusiasts a stop at a cozy mountain hut is an essential part of a hike: they typically serve excellent regional specialties such as the hearty Schüsselkas' (bowl cheese) at Aualm in Filzmoos or fresh butter milk at Brandlalm in Ramsau am Dachstein.
Austria’s hiking villages boast some 40,000 kilometers of beautiful hiking trails and footpaths through for all interests and fitness levels. You can go for leisurely strolls in the valley, hike through gently rolling hills or climb 3000-meter high peaks – the choice is all yours!
The almost 50 hiking destinations all offer superb hikes and walks and make for great holiday destinations in areas of great natural charm.
