"Euro 2008-Visa"
The Austrian representation authorities abroad can issue specially marked “EURO 2008-Visa”, which are valid in the Schengen area and entitle also to traveling into Switzerland and the Principality of Lichtenstein.

Which guests need a visa?
Owners of a residence title of a Schengen contracting statue don’t need a visa for visiting the EURO 2008. However, it is recommended to bring a valid passport.

Where can one apply for a visa?
Euro 2008-Visas are exclusively issued by Austrian embassies and consulate generals abroad. Should a statue not have an Austrian representation, one can apply for a visa at a representation authority of a Schengen partner, which represents Austria for issuing visas. These visas are only valid for the Schengen area and are not special “Euro 2008 visa”. With these visas additional visas are required for traveling to Sitzerland.
This applies for the following UEFA EURO 2008™ member countries:

• Armenia – representation by the German embassy in Yerevan
  
• Azerbaijan – representation by the German embassy in Baku
  
• Belarus – representation by the German embassy in Minsk
  
• Kazakhstan – present representation by the Germany embassy in Almaty
