A special Football Hotline 0810 222700 (Austria-wide at local tariffs / +43 1 290 2008 for calls from abroad) has been set up for ÖBB customers, giving assistance in five languages (G, E, I, F, SP) with any enquiries regarding your travel to the EURO 2008. You can get information folders and pocket timetables at the stations or visit us at www.oebb.at/euro2008 for schedule information with a special focus on the match venues.
Make a reservation and ensure yourself a seat
ÖBB is optimistic that many people will make use of ÖBB's extensive mobility offer during the UEFA EURO 2008. To ensure that you can travel comfortably on the train of your choice, ÖBB recommends making a seat reservation. The reservation fee in 1st and 2nd class is € 3.00 per trip and direction. - Available at the ticket counter, through the Call-Center with subsequent collection at the ticket machine and online at www.oebb.at.
With the right directions always comfortably on the move
If you travel by rail during the UEFA EURO 2008TM, you can benefit from special services on the train and at your destination station. Welcome Desks welcome the football fans and give assistance with any rail and tourism-related enquiries at the destination. The sophisticated guidance system consisting of clearly understandable direction signs and announcements in different languages as well as information given by friendly staff ensure that everyone finds his or her way to the stadium or Fan Zone.
Convenient storage options for your luggage
For all those not travelling light, ÖBB has organised left luggage facilities in addition to the already existing lockers at the station from 10 am on match day until 10 am on the following day. Here, all the luggage you cannot take to the stadium is stored in a safe place. If ÖBB customers lose any objects, there is also someone to turn to here, as these left luggage facilities are also Lost & Found offices.
