Imperial Austria

Experience the Fascinating World of the Habsburgs
A period of more than six hundred years of Habsburg reign in Austria has left behind a grand and important cultural legacy.

It is the joint aim of four top tourist destinations that have joined forces in 2005 under the brand name Imperial Austria not only to preserve this legacy in its authentic form, but also to present it in
a modern way.

Under this seal of quality, the imperial apartments, the Sisi Museum, and the silverware chamber at Hofburg Castle, the palace, garden, and animal park in Schönbrunn which belong to the UNESCO world cultural heritage, and the Imperial Festival Palace Hof organise theme tours that show the visitors the many facets of the fascinating world of the Habsburgs.
Over one and a half days, four historically important sites grant an enticing glimpse into the development of the monarchy, the architectural history, but also into the way festivals were celebrated and everyday life was lived at the imperial court in Vienna.
The deep tradition of each of the destinations and the dramatic presentation concept guarantee for an unforgettable experience.

Imperial Austria supports tour operators by offering comprehensive modular services. Imperial Austria does not only organise visitor programmes. At request, it also arranges bus transportation, provides experienced guides in all major languages, and caters for the visitors.
