How 'bout a summer break in Austria?

PHOTO: SalzburgerLand Tourist Board

Ahhhh....summer.

Seasons come and go but the appeal of summer never fails to seduce us with its graceful pageantry of colours and a ‘could-do’ list that stretches as far as the long days and warm nights will allow.

Summer in Austria is no different, yet somehow it is, as it is during this time of the year that our small alpine country brilliantly sheds the impression that it only does winter well. When the warm weather arrives and Austria’s glorious lakes and mountainscapes lie sun-kissed, it soon becomes apparent that this could be the summer destination of central Europe.

Bookmark this page so you don't miss the latest Austrian summer news, including offers and updates from our Austrian tourism partners and airlines, as well as the latest offerings from UK and Irish tour operators.

See you in Austria this summer!
