Wild & beautiful Wildschönau

The Wildschönau offers the perfect balance between an active and a cultural holiday... not to mention very reasonably priced. Whether you are travelling alone, in a couple, or with friends and family, the Wildschönau has something for everyone.
Over recent years, the region has developed into a specialised Nordic walking centre, with seven trails throughout the valley and professional courses, instruction and equipment hire available.
Two cable cars, running from May to October, facilitate the start to many a fantastic hike. There's also plenty of outdoor recreation (canyoning, paragliding, swimming, riding, mountain biking, and a brand new high wire park), cultural offerings (musical events, festivals, a prize-winning museum and children’s programmes) and of course all this in an unspoiled location with fantastic views. The perfect balance for your summer holiday!
As our motto goes, ‘Wildschönau – exciting, relaxing’
