THE SPA
Eight rooms cater to medical treatments and flotation skin treatments,while another four are dedicated to beauty treatments. The pool has jet stations to soothe muscles and ligaments and there is a separate, traditional sauna and jacuzzi area. Relax in the Roman steam bath and the panoramic sauna, before being invigorated in the hot whirlpool bath.

Medical spas are renowned for their truly unique treatments. At the AlpenMedHotel Lamm, there is the cryotherapy treatment, which consists of three chambers that are kept at different temperatures. One is -10 °C, the second -60 °C and the third -110 °C. Patients can use the chambers for up to three minutes twice a day, to help with skin disorders, arthritis and even stress reduction. You can be secure in the knowledge that all clinicians overseeing these types of treatments have been qualified as medical doctors before training in alternative methods.
