Vienna

What`s free in Vienna?

Visit the Wien Museum and Musician's Memorials (free entry on Friday mornings and on Sundays), the Museum of Applied Arts (free admission on Saturdays) or the Central Cemetary, Europe’s biggest cemetery with 2.5 million graves.

Vienna’s gardens and parks invite you to enjoy nature, work out on your bike or skates or simply relax. The most picturesque gardens and parklands are the parks of Schönbrunn Palace, the Prater and its parklands, the gardens of Belvedere Palace, the Vienna Woods and Vienna’s most famous recreation area: the Danube Island.

Public transportation in Vienna is free for kids on Sundays, public holidays and during the Christmas holidays (between 24 Dec and 6 Jan) as well as the summer school holidays (July & August).

And…

A couple of Vienna’s top events such as the Danube Island Festival (in June, on the Danube Island), the Life Ball (in May, at the City Hall square), the Rainbow Parade and the New Year’s Eve Trail also cost you zilch!
