Salzburg Lakes Bike Tour
Small peaks tower above the background of the clean lakes and invite you again and again to stop and take in the scenery. You bike past lush green meadows, mighty woods and jagged rocks and through pastures and moor lands, imperial towns and picturesque villages.
On the lake shores and along the Salzach River, the bike routes are completely flat. In-between the terrain is hilly. Depending on the route you take, one third is on cycle tracks, almost all the rest on meadow and wood paths and country lanes and on side streets with light traffic. Only a few, short sections are on streets with traffic. The tour starts and ends in Salzburg.
