Austrian National Tourist Office Newsletter Competition: Official Terms & Conditions

No purchase necessary: A purchase will not increase your chances of winning the “Austrian National Tourist Office” Competition ("Competition"). Void where prohibited.

1. Competition Promoter, Administrator: Austrian National Tourist Office, Level 10, 1 York, Street Sydney NSW 2000

2. Eligibility: Entry to the competition is open to Australian citizens or permanent residents who live in Australia and are aged 18 years and over as of 30 September 2023. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, suppliers, associated companies, and agencies are ineligible to enter. Persons under the age of 18 years are not considered adults and therefore are not able to enter. If a winner is discovered to be under 18, they will automatically be disqualified.

3. Acceptance of Official Rules: By entering this Competition, you hereby accept and agree to these official Terms and Conditions of this Competition, and the decisions of the Competition Promoter in connection with this Competition, whose decisions are final on matters relating to the operation of this Competition.

4. Start and End Period: The Competition begins on 10 August 2023 at 09:00 AM AEST and ends on 30 September 2023 at 12:00 midnight AEST ("Competition Period"). All entries must be received and recorded during the Competition Period.

5. How to Participate in Competition: After visiting the page www.austria.info/en/newsletter, enter your e-mail address, in the form on the newsletter module. Then confirm your subscription by clicking the link received via e-mail. The winner will be selected on 2 October 2023 at 05:00 PM AEST by the Competition Promoter whose decision is final. The drawing will be held under the supervision of the Austrian National Tourist Office, Level 10, 1 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000. The odds of winning are determined by the total number of entries received.

6. Prize: Winners (five in totel) will receive one of two Wildbrumby 4 Packs (18.5%) + 2 shot glasses or one of three bottles of Obstler + 2 shot glasses. The value of the prizes is $595 in total.

8. Prize / Winner Notification: One entry per person by e-mail address.

Winner may not substitute or transfer the prize. Grand Prize may not be redeemed for cash. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Winners of the Grand Prize will be notified by e-mail (using the email used for registration of the contest). If a winner cannot be contacted within two (2) weeks of the day of the first notification attempt or if any Winner rejects his/her prize, the Grand Prize will be forfeited, and an alternate Winner selected.

In order to claim the prize, the winner must submit the following information, which is needed to issue the prize: Name and exact mailing address within the Australia.

9. Other Terms and Conditions: The Promoter is not liable for any loss (including loss of opportunity) or damage (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect or inconsequential loss) or personal injury in relation to this competition or the use of, or participation in, the prize. Competition Administrator, in its sole discretion, may disqualify any entrant from participation in this Competition and refuse to award any prize if entrant engages in any conduct deemed to be improper, unfair, or otherwise averse to the operation of the Competition by the Administrator. If, for any reason, the Competition is not capable of running as planned, Administrator reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Competition and select a Winner from entries received prior to the action taken or in such other manner as Administrator may deem fair and appropriate. Competition Administrator assumes no liability and is not responsible for, and entrant hereby forever waives any rights to any claim in connection with, lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, stolen, misdirected, or delayed entries; or for any computer, telephone, wireless phone, cable, network, satellite, electronic, internet hardware, or software malfunctions; or unauthorised human intervention; or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information, or the failure to capture any such information. Competition Administrator assumes no liability and is not responsible for, and you hereby forever waive any rights to any claim in connection with, errors and/or ambiguity: (a) in the Competition; (b) in any related advertising or promotions of this Competition; and/or (c) in these Official Rules. In the event of any ambiguity(s) or error(s) in these Official Rules, Administrator reserves the right to modify these Official Rules for clarification purposes or to correct any such error(s) without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the Competition.

10. Privacy / Purpose of collection of information: All entries in the competition become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information from entrants to conduct the competition. Entrants may direct any request to access their personal information to the Promoter. Additionally, all literary works submitted as part of an entry become the property of the Promoter and it is a condition of entry that those literary works may be used by the Promoter for their own promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without restriction. The promoter may share the entry details with the prize provider.
