Ischgl - Winter Holidays the Austrian Way

Snow-sure slopes, award-winning cuisine and a tad of luxury - that's what ski holidays in Ischgl are like.

Stepping out of your home away from home in Tirol's Ischgl is like stepping right into a winter fairy tale. The snow-covered roofs and summits, the fresh mountain breeze, the scent of hearty Austrian food coming from one of the many gourmet restaurants. In Ischgl, you don't have to choose that one winter adventure, you can have the full deal.

Ischgl, right in the Tyrolean Alps in the Paznaun, is the perfect place for active travellers. One of the largest ski resorts in Austria, it has snow-sure slopes from the end of November to early May. But it's equally a dream destination for those looking for a more leisurely winter break with a tad of luxury: Ischgl has more four and five star hotels and award-winning restaurants than most other winter resort in Austria. Head to the slopes during the day and dine in style at a different foodie temple every night, or watch international superstars headline the legendary Top of the Mountains concert series. Need a break? Go winter hiking or recharge your batteries at the new Silvretta Spa.
