SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental - Winter Holidays the Austrian Way

Uncover one of the largest, most modern and sustainable ski resorts in the world, offering winter fun to beginners, families, sporty and pleasure skiers alike.

The nine villages Brixen im Thale, Ellmau, Going, Hopfgarten, Itter, Scheffau, Söll, Westerndorf and Kirchberg form one of Austria's largest and most modern ski resorts, SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, boasting 270 km of groomed slopes and 20 valley descents. SkiWelt has been powered by 100% green electricity for more than 20 years and has one of the first solar-powered lifts in Austria since 2008, making it not only a popular but also a sustainable winter destination.

Three fun parks, high speed-, ski movie- and racing runs ensure skiers will never get bored. For kids, there are 22 professional ski schools spread over the whole resort, as well as some lovely child-care facilities, providing winter fun for the youngest. If you want to give your skies a rest, three toboggan runs await, which are groomed daily, have snowmaking facilities and are floodlit.

Every 3,5 km of slopes you'll find one of the 80 family-owned huts and mountain inns, spoiling hungry skiers with Tirolean favourites, the famous rustic hut romantic, and spacious sun terraces perfect for admiring the surrounding mountain panoramas.
