More than 300 years of bringing people together

A building of the flour store was demolished and rebuilt here back in 1697, which in some sort sets a beginning of the hotel history. The function of it was first to be an exclusive place of entertainment, where dances and balls took place. It then turned into a concert hall: in 1785, Mozart gives a concert here. Later transformed into a "casino", which at that time meant a combination of an inn, a concert hall and a coffee house, the house still welcomes famous guests and performers. Finally in 1866 the building takes over the role of a hotel. Until now the traces of the past can be read in the rooms of the Hotel Ambassador together with contemporary influences.
