Yoga on the Mountain (00:11)

Kaya and Gavan took the Gampenbahn lift up to Gampen restaurant and its picturesquely situated sun terrace. Here, they got a private yoga class with a breath-taking view of the surrounding mountainscape. St. Anton is a yoga hotspot – so much that a regular Mountain Yoga Festival is held here.

In the mood for a different kind of wellness? ARLBERG-well.com is a unique spa centre with a variety of pools, saunas and gym and massage offerings that will leave you totally relaxed.

Hiking on “Mutspuren” Trail (00:34)

Kaya and Gavan chose the panoramic “Mutspuren” (“tracks of courage”) trail on Galzig mountain for a hiking expedition. They took the Galzigbahn lift, then walked the 5-kilometre circular path, taking in the views along the way.

Another great option are the region’s Flower Hikes – walking routes that let you discover Alpine plants and flowers you won’t find anywhere else.

St. Anton and its surrounding area also have opportunities for multi-day hikes, such as the Adlerweg (“Eagle Path”), making its way from St. Johann in the Tirolean lowlands to its endpoint in St. Anton.

Mountain Biking Along Rosanna River (01:02)

Of course, our Brits couldn’t leave St. Anton without spending a day out mountain biking. The chose the picturesque route along the Rosanna River towards St. Jakob which made for an exhilarating trip.

The region offers 350 kilometres of mountain biking routes for all levels, all of which start at the town’s ARLBERG-well.com wellness centre. Use the interactive map to find a route that’s right for you!

Rainy day? Visit St. Anton Museum, learn more about the region’s heritage and traditions, and then dine on locally sourced dishes in the museum’s restaurant.
