    3. Salzkammergut Region in Upper Austria and SalzburgerLand

    Perhaps one of the most scenic cycling routes in all of Austria, a circular trip from the city of Salzburg to the lakes Fuschlsee, Wolfgangsee, and Mondsee makes a perfect e-bike adventure.

    The tour starts in the heart of Salzburg at the Stiegl brewery and leads through the old town out of the city, following the street to lake Fuschlsee. Further down the road, lake Wolfgangsee will welcome you with a fantastic view. Turn left at St. Gilgen and head further to lake Mondsee. Following the former route of the Salzkammergut train the track then leads back to Salzburg.

    4. Across Austria on the EuroVelo 9 Trail

    This section of the Baltic-Adriatic route takes you along vineyards, through picturesque villages, and to historical cities in Lower Austria and Styria, as well as to Vienna.

    In addition to the numerous sights along the route, this trail also takes you right into a culinary paradise: wine specialities in local taverns, the famous pumpkin seed oil, roasted chestnuts in autumn, all wait to be discovered.
