Brandnertal in Vorarlberg

Everything for an Unforgettable Family Winter Holiday

For active family holidays, you’ll love the charm of Brandnertal’s small villages, its warm hosts and good restaurants, and wide variety of activities on and off the slopes. From skiing with the whole family to the thrill of a long fresh-air toboggan run, to exploring the silvery paradise on winter walks and snowshoe trails, there’s something for everyone. We asked Riccarda Loretz, manager of Brandnertal Tourist Office about her favourite outings.

“I recommend exploring the toboggan run Schattenlagant. First, it’s an easy 5km walk to the Schattenlagant Hut,” explains Riccarda. “After the hike, you can relax with an unforgettable Kaiserschmarren and a hot chocolate. Then everyone zooms on their sleds back to the valley. Please do not forget to book the toboggan in advance.” With 25 years as manager of the Tourist Office in Brandnertal, in her free time, Riccarda enjoys meeting friends and visitors on the mountain. Whether skiing or snowshoeing, she loves being active in the beautiful Vorarlberg outdoors.

Discover the magic of the mountains by night on a guided snowshoe tour through the romantic, snowy winter landscape of Brandertal. Enjoy a fragrant fondue or a full moon experience.
