Gay and Lesbian Guided Tour of Vienna

City guide Andreas Brunner takes his guests on a colorful tour through the history of Austria's capital.

Gay and Lesbian Guided Tour of Vienna

QWIEN, an activist collective, has developed a range of gay and lesbian city tours over the last few years. Based on around 20 years of research, Austria Guide Andreas Brunners' knowledge of Vienna's gay and lesbian history is extensive. It's not (just) scandalizing stories that form the core of Brunner's tours, but a glimpse into the lives of homosexuals from the Middle Ages to today. You can choose between two routes through the first district, special tours about the persecution of homosexuals during the Nazi regime, or a guided walk centered around LGBTQIA life in the trendy neighborhood surrounding Naschmarkt market.
