Ramsau
Enjoy powder skiing at its best in the Dachstein glacier ski area. There are countless ski mountaineering tours, steep downhills, ski routes and freerides from and to the Dachstein plateau. The most spectacular
freeriding run is the Edelgrieß, quite a challenge for even experienced mountaineers. In order to wedel down this south-faced slope to
Ramsau, it is necessary to be an experienced alpinist and skier. Then you can appreciate great powder skiing with a fabulous mountain backdrop, a slope gradient of up to 45 degrees and 1600 m difference in altitude. In between the steep rocks and limestone walls, there are cirques, gorges and firn slopes. This spectacular freeride is 8 km long!

Freeride Center Sölden.
Snow & Alpine Awareness Camps
SAAC basic camps are free 2-day camps that provide background information and tips on how to stay safe when going off piste. Camps start in the afternoon with a three hour theory block. On the second day, you form small groups and go off-piste with certified ski and mountain guides from the area. Also free of charge are avalanche transceivers, shovels and detectors. To participate, you must be a skier or snowboarder, at least 14 years of age, with intermediate abilities when skiing of piste. Please make sure that you register early enough as places are limited.
International Racing Camps Hintertux
Another successful training camp was founded in 1982 by Erich Stürmer. The
International Racing Camps give young and talented ski racers the possibility to achieve their dreams and goals. At the 3.250m Hintertux Glacier you’ll enjoy race-orientated, individual snow training in the morning and individualized fitness programs in the afternoon.

Austria Racing Camps at the Hintertux Glacier offer professional ski and ski race training. The length of the courses varies and can be booked individually, with one-on-one courses available all year round.
Andre Arnold Ski Racing Camp Sölden
These camps are for children, 8 years and older. The Ötztaler glacier area (Rettenbach- and Tiefenbachferner) is Austria’s biggest all year round ski area, and one of the favorite training camps for its successful national ski teams. The four-time ski world champion Andre Arnold has developed different training programs for all abilities, which include: ski technique, sport skiing, carving technique, timed runs, ÖSV-WISBI race and video analyses.
