Anna Aichinger
Our recommendations

The emerging designer prefers to read the political magazine “Spiegel” over the fashion magazine “Vogue” and gets inspired for her new fashion collection by political themes. Therefore her creations have a reputation in Paris, London and Hongkong.

The young woman from Vienna studied at the University of Performing Arts and got her degree, being best of her class, working with well-known designers like Jean Jacques de Castelbaljac and Raf Simons. Her final design work was an apparel creation named “The Dandy Warlords”, a look which consisted of a mixture of military and nomad elements which was inspired by the war in Afghanistan and the second Gulf war. Already her first collection was awarded first place: the one of the “Moët Chandon Fashion School”. Further awards followed afterwards as well as every year two highly praised fashion collections, which are sold not only in Vienna but in Paris, London and Hongkong. The sewing for the protypes of her design collections are given by Aichinger to women of the initiative “Volkshilfe-Betriebs-Merit” who have been unemployed for an extended period.
