Jazzfestival Saalfelden
The Jazzfestival Saalfelden with its top-class instrumentation is regarded as one of the most significant jazz festivals in Central Europe. What started out as a musical get together in a horse stable in 1979 has become an established international event.
In addition to the main stage at the congress centre in Saalfelden, venues are the art house Nexus and the city stage on the town hall square. The surrounding Alps are also used as venues and provide an extra special atmosphere for those wishing to experience "Jazz on the Mountain".
