Take a Sound of Music Tour in Salzburg

Perhaps somewhat surprising is that many Austrians have not even watched The Sound of Music and don't fully realise the enormous impact the film still holds today in the UK and North America. In Salzburg, however, the word has long been out and nearly all of the city tour companies now offer their own version of The Sound of Music Tour. At select times of the year visitors can even attend a Sound of Music dinner show. Additionally, several Salzburg hotels have set up a television channel that shows The Sound of Music Film around the clock so that many of Salzburg's 300,000 annual visitors can check in by watching the movie faster than you can say do-re-mi.
