Visit one of the loveliest valleys of the Tirol and take a ride on the Zillertal narrow railway from Fügen to Mayrhofen. Steam rises from the cylinders, you can hear a locomotive chuffing, and you are taken back to a time when train journeys were a real exciting event.  After your train ride, spend time in the delightful village of Mayrhofen which is surrounded by lush meadows, glaciers and ski slopes. Indulge in another train journey and watch the beautiful landscape glide by, this time on the nostalgic Pinzgau railway, which runs from Zell am Seeto Mittersill. Then spend time in the pretty walled town of Kitzbühel with its medieval architecture, cobbled streets, lovely cafes and horse drawn carriages.
