Fitness enthusiasts can take off into the stunning alpine landscapes of Zillertal on a total of eight diverse routes at the Run & Walk Park in Mayrhofen.
Past fragrant alpine meadows, through shady mountain forests, into high alpine regions with dramatic rock faces and summit formations. Visitors will find particularly attractive walking, jogging and Nordic Walking opportunities

, fitness orientated holiday makers can let off steam on a total of eight different routes
. The trails have been designed to give you your dose of exercise while at the same time leading through the particularly peaceful and unspoilt countryside around Mayrhofen
. As one of the most challenging mountain runs in Tirol, the “Harakiri” Hill with its 78 percent gradient
is without doubt the real showpiece. This gem of a route presents a special challenge even for fit, experienced runners who are familiar with the terrain.
Special signage for speed and pulse control
As a professional athlete with a personal training plan, an aspiring amateur with ambitious goals, or an absolute beginner with lots of enthusiasm – the special classification system
used for the different tours ensures that everyone will find their ideal route. In addition to information about direction, route length and difficulty, exact distances are also given in kilometres for the individual stages of the Run & Walk Park
. This means that runners and walkers are able to check their speed, their training pulse and their individual training rate at any time.
