Hiking Austria's mountains not only offers some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, but also allows you to explore Austria's people and traditions along the way.

The Eagle's Walk takes you on the hike of a lifetime from St. Johann in Tirol past the majestic Wilder Kaiser mountain range, on through the Brandenberger Alps, the Rofan and Karwendel mountains, to the Lechtal Alps and finally St. Anton am Arlberg.

All in all the path consists of 126 stages and covers a distance of 1480 kilometres, with a total elevation gain of 87,000 meters.

No matter whether you challenge yourself and tackle the main route, or if you prefer choosing a couple of more easy-going day trips, the Eagle's Walk is a once in lifetime experience for the young and the old, the fit and the not so fit, the Austrians and the tourists alike.
