150 Years Gustav Mahler
On July 7 one of Austria's famous sons was born: Gustav Mahler (1860–1911), the genius of the fin de siècle, was a music pioneer of his time and influenced many composers. Music lovers all over the world celebrate him two years long in series: 2010 marked his 150th birthday, 2011 the 100th anniversary of his death. Together with Angelika Kirchschlager we have produced a special CD edition.
