Crystal Worlds Wattens
Our recommendations

Marveling like a child is rare these days, but one cannot help it when standing in the interior of a huge crystal, watching light refracted in hundreds of mirrored surfaces. The imposing Crystal Dome is the showpiece of the “Swarovski Crystal Worlds”.

Wattens

For over a hundred years the Swarovski family has been demonstrating how artistically crafted glass crystals have the power to enchant. With the “Swarovski Crystal Worlds”, in Wattens, the family went one step further, creating a special cosmos of wonder, in which the magic of crystal is “staged” in a variety of imaginative ways.

The brainchild of the Austrian multimedia artist André Heller, the “Crystal Worlds” consist of fourteen “Chambers of Wonder” created by world-renowned artists and designers such as Alexander McQueen, Tord Boontje and Brian Eno, and they have lived up to their name ever since: in the fairytale winter landscape made up of thousand of crystals, in the world’s largest kaleidoscope, in the mysterious ice street, in which the visitor becomes an explorer, or in the previously mentioned Crystal Dome, by André Heller, Brian Eno, and Susanne Schmöger, visitors will be absolutely open-mouthed with amazement – and not only the young ones.
