Even after their transfer to the countryside, the longstanding family of culinary hosts, the Fleischhackers, still run one of the most famous restaurants far and wide: the Pfefferschiff in Söllheim. Patron Jürgen Vigne, in charge of the cooking, and his wife Iris, responsible for making sure the restaurant ticks like a precision watch, assure quality and continuity at the highest level. This is a beautiful, historic country house which uses only the very best produce, cooks in straight-forward, genuine fashion without tricks or baubles. In other words, this is taste concentration at its purest. Several times each year, Jürgen Vigne also permits others to try their hand at his art, in the course of his popular cooking courses.
