During the 3-day networking immersion at the Von Trapp Family Lodge, we invite U.S. tour operators and travel designers to experience Austria’s love for art, culture, and music; the shared Alpine mountain spirit and appreciation for the outdoors; Austrian traditions; and, of course, Sound of Music connections.
Meet 22 Austrian suppliers in one-on-one appointments — embedded in immersive storytelling, curated networking, and insider perspectives, you are invited to connect with Austria, discover favorite places and ideas that may not yet be on your radar, and capture a full dose of the Austrian Lebensgefühl along the way.
The Von Trapp Family Lodge was founded by the von Trapp family after they settled in Vermont, following their escape from Salzburg in 1938. They brought with them their Austrian roots, traditions, and passion for hospitality and are preserving this heritage to this day — making the lodge the perfect setting for our event.

Monday, May 11 | Welcome & Connect
Arrive in Vermont and begin your Austrian journey with a warm welcome reception — an inspiring introduction to the uniqueness of Austria, its Lebensgefühl, cultural richness, and sense of place. An evening designed to spark meaningful conversations and genuine connections.
Tuesday, May 12 | Business & Inspiration
A full day of thoughtfully structured one-on-one meetings and interactive sessions with Austrian tourism partners — combining productive business exchange with inspiration, new ideas, and fresh perspectives for your clients.
Wednesday, May 13 | Explore & Reflect
Enjoy a final morning to experience the Von Trapp legacy and Vermont’s natural beauty — offering space to reflect, connect informally, and depart inspired.

Two nights at the Von Trapp Family Lodge (single occupancy)
A full networking program with all meals and activities
Round-trip transfers between Burlington Airport (BTV) and the lodge
