From the Piste into the Spa
Whisking down glittering powder snow during the day, regenerating body and soul in the warm thermal water at night. The mix of fun on the slopes and treats at a thermal spa afterwards has a long tradition in Austria.
Wellness Highlights at the Aqua Dome
The Alpine Spa Aqua Dome in Tirol
It has been a fantastic and beautiful winter vacation day, with sunshine, powder snow and skiing fun. In short: real winter love in Tirol. Or, one could also say: A day like many others in an alpine country known for its legendary mountain world, its hospitality and its countless winter activities. The body is exhausted, the spirit refreshed. Now it's time to get out of the skiwear and into the spa world! Sounds like your idea of a perfect holiday? Then the Aqua Dome might be just right for you.
Get comfy in one of the huge floating outdoor pools filled with pleasantly warm water, and enjoy panoramic views over the snow-covered mountain that you skied down just a little earlier. You can choose between a sulfur, brine and massage pool. Right in the middle, the Spa Dome, the crystal-shaped centrepiece of this wellness paradise, arches over one of the pools. Saunas, relaxing treatments in the spa area, a cosy lounge oasis and a fitness studio complete the tempting offer of the Tirolean wellness temple.
And in the "Alpen Arche Noah" kids' world, attractions such as a tire slide or a funnel slide ensure that the kids are having fun, too.
The most beautiful Spas in Ski Resorts
Don't go straight from the slopes to the massage bench! Loose warm-up, e.g. swimming, light cycling, walking, the warmth of an infrared chamber or a bath in warm water are the ideal preparation for a massage.

Top tips for the sauna
It almost goes without saying that you shouldn't go straight to the sauna after a heavy meal. But even after exercising, it's recommended to wait a little while before a sauna session, to make sure the pulse has normalised.
It's best to lie on your back at the sauna, as the whole body is in the same temperature zone that way. About two minutes before leaving, sit up and take a seat on one of the lower benches. This prepares the circulatory system for getting up and for the lower temperature outside the sauna. A stay in the sauna cabin should never exceed 20 minutes.
