Experience the traditional, romantic and festive festive atmosphere of Innsbruck's historic old town. The Christmas Market at Maria-Theresien-Straße has a special eye-catcher: the illuminated mountain crystal towering above the market. Advent at the Market Square is perfect for families: The square enchants with a Tyrolean village feel and there's a varied children's programme, too. For the best views of wintery Innsbruck, visit the Panorama Christmas Market at Hungerburg. The market in the St. Nikolaus district shows the tranquil and reflective side of Advent.

By plane:
Innsbruck airport is easily reached from Munich Airport. There are also some direct flights with connections in surrounding airports.
By train:
Innsbruck is easily reached via international trains (1h 45 min direct from Munich) as well as directly from Salzburg (1 h 45 min) and Vienna (4 h 15 min).
By car:
- From Vienna: A12 motorway.
- From Switzerland: A12 motorway. Through the Arlberg Road Tunnel or toll-free via the Arlberg region.
