    Pick Your Summer

Not often do you get three holidays wrapped into one: But in the holiday region around the city of Bludenz, tucked away in Austria's far west, you will experience just that.

Perhaps you'd like to spend time with your family, enjoy themed trails and try your hand at climbing? Then Brandnertal valley is perfect for you.

Perhaps you're in the mood for exploring untouched nature - the whole Großes Walsertal valley is a Biosphere Reserve and might just do the trick.

Or perhaps you want to enjoy that feeling of pushing yourself to the limit, of conquering the mountains. You will love climbing and mountaineering in Klostertal valley.

And of course, it all leads back to Bludenz itself in the end, the region's picturesque and lively centre, where local markets, cosy cafés, and events like the annual Street Food Festival await.

    Three Valleys, One Perfect Summer

One for the Family: Brandnertal Valley

Nothing quite beats the feeling of spending a day filled with new activities and laughter with your loved ones. In the Brandnertal valley, it’s all about exploring lush forests and Alpine meadows together: Walk the interactive, nature-themed Natursprünge path or learn about local wildlife on the Tierwelten path. Get adventurous at a high rope course in the middle of a forest or at the Brandnertal bike park. Or discover beautiful nature spots like the turquoise, shimmering Lünersee lake (accessible by cable car) or the chocolate-box Zalimtal valley.

One for Pure Nature: Biosphere Reserve Großes Walsertal Valley

Großes Walsertal valley is a UNESCO biosphere reserve, where living and working in harmony with nature take centre stage. This means that visitors can explore natural landscapes that are truly untouched: Hike pristine Alpine paths, explore deep valleys, and climb high peaks. The biosphärenpark.haus centre lets you learn more about the biosphere reserve; and down in the valley, the Propstei St. Gerold hosts concerts and art shows.

Families will be able to go on an adventure at the “Bear Country” fun park on Sonnenkopf mountain, whilst the Aflenzbach stream and the area’s crystal-clear mountain lakes beckon weary wanderers to take a dip. You’ll see: Klostertal is a place of intense encounters with nature.
