When do you have to wear a face covering in Austria?
Generally, a face mask must be worn in most indoor settings.
In the following settings, your are required to wear an FFP2 mask:
- on public transport
- in all shops
- on cable cars
Do children need to wear face masks?
Children under 7 are not required to wear masks.
Does a minimum distance have to be maintained?
As a matter of principle, a distance of at least two metres (6.5 ft) must be kept between yourself and those living in another household.
