This is How the Competition Mode Works
Who will bring home the ASG Glass Orb? On four race weekends the world’s fastest ski racers will compete for valuable points.
The first-ever season of the Austrian Ski Game starts on November 5, with a downhill race in the lovely Zillertal. Between November 19 and 21, you can earn the first World Cup points.
Contestants from all over the globe can participate in the virtual ASG-World Cup. There are four ski runs on which you can qualify for the respective race weekend. At the end of each race, a new run becomes accessible and the fight for the fastest times will start anew. Important: If you can’t beat the minimum time requirement during the qualifying runs, you can’t participate in the race and you’ll have to try again at the next location. Aside from World Cup points, you can also win amazing prizes.
Make good use of the training mode
The training mode helps you familiarize yourself with the racecourse. This is where you can keep going after a fall or practice how to approach key stretches. Don’t forget to use the different weather settings, because ice and snow are possible during the race as well.
Points for the fastest racers
Once you qualified for a race, you have three days to set a personal best time for the course. In the end, you’ll receive valuable points for the World Cup ranking. First place gets 100,000 points, second place 99,999 points, third place 99,998 points and so on. An exciting season lies ahead and the fight for the glass orb will be thrilling until the very end.
