    IceQ Design Restaurant in Sölden

    Located at the top of the Gaislachkogel mountain at 10,000 ft (3,048 m), the innovative design restaurant IceQ opened in Sölden at the start of the ski season 2013/14. A testimony to modern architecture, the glass exterior projects a transparent feeling that takes visitors close to the spectacular mountain scenery. The technical masterpiece goes one step further, as the roof terrace is connected to the Gaislachkogel mountain peak via a suspension bridge. The stylish high-end restaurant is a gourmet experience, taking Austrian cuisine to new heights. A special highlight is the signature wine ‘Pino3000’, a cross-border wine project, where three top wine-growers bring their best Pinot Noir from Austria, South Tirol, and Germany to be matured in a special wine cellar at the Gaislachkogel. You may also recognize iceQ from the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace! The 007 ELEMENTS museum is just a few steps from the now iconic restaurant.

    Berghotel Rudolfshütte, Uttendorf

    The 3* Berghotel Rudolfshütte is located at 7,595 ft (2,315 m) above sea level in the National Park Hohe Tauern, surrounded by 22 imposing 9,800 ft (3,000 m) peaks and numerous glaciers. It is only reachable by cable car and has no street access. This doesn’t keep it from offering amenities such as a panorama indoor swimming pool, saunas, and an indoor climbing hall.
